Larry Bishop started Topaz Custom Homes in 2008 after being a partner in Cantera Development since 2003.  He has built numerous homes in the West Austin area.  Larry worked as a carpenter in his younger years and has always had a passion for construction.  His art and real estate background play a key role in his approach to building custom homes.  "To me, building a home is much like creating a work of art, the finish out and the feel one gets in the space is critical.  My residential real estate background helps me keep up with trends and what people are looking for in a house."  Attention to detail and personally being on-site throughout the process ensures a quality product.  His relationship with Steve Todd of Austin Design Group allows his clients to start with a concept and create their dream home while enjoying the entire process from the design stage to the finished product.
